CityFit, Poland’s number one low-cost gym operator, continues its expansion with the addition of two new sites in Warsaw and Poznan. Zynk, the brand’s inaugural gym designers, will be designing all the internal elements for these new sites in Poland.
The health and fitness provider is also evolving its facilities to deliver a full-service experience that includes new inviting relaxation zones and lounge areas to facilitate socialising between members. In addition to the new sites, zynk is embarking on the gym design for an extensive refurbishment programme of existing sites, including remodelling the gym brand interior architecture to incorporate new relaxation zones and lounge areas.
Since launching the brand four years ago, CityFit has rapidly established itself as the number one low-cost gym chain in Poland. It currently operates 15 sites which all provide members with 24-hour gym access and a timetable of group exercise classes.
“CityFit has worked with zynk from the inception of the brand to create a distinctive interior personality that communicated the pioneering concept of the budget gym, which was new to Poland at the time,” explains Ewa Morawska, operations and administrations manager. “Now our service is evolving slightly we need the expertise of zynk to ensure there is a consistency between all of the sites. In particular, when it comes to revamping our older sites we know that zynk will be able to incorporate the new areas into existing footprints without compromising our customers’ experience.”
